Junior Financial Accountant - Nasrec

Reference : CPT-AK-1FMCG concern based in Nasrec is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Posting the relevant month end Journals
2. Making sure the correct intercompany contracts at the correct prices and tonnages are used.
3. Ensuring that Safex, the hedges and the forex is correctly allocated.
4. Analysis of the GOCM income statement
5. Preparation of the GOCM balance sheet recons
6. Review of all GOCM creditors
7. Review of all the Nasrec site stock count, procedures, stock gain loss analysis and stock reporting

Requirements

1. Finance Degree / Diploma
2. SAICA / SAIPA articles (advantageous)
3. 2-5 years relevant experience
4. SAGE ERP experience (advantageous)
5. Experience in month-end close process.
6. Knowledge in IFRS and taxation.
7. A good understanding on Safex, Hedges and Forex.
8. Maintaining and creating processes and controls around the management of stock.
9. Experience in manufacturing and / or FMCG environment.
