Job description

Large Shared Services concern based in Springs has an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a completed BPT (Accounting degree) plus completed SAICA articles, as well as 1 year's post-article commercial experience, to ensure the accurate recording of financial transactions and reports.

The successful candidate will perform duties to ensure compliance with Financial Administration, GAAP, Legislative Compliance, and company policies and procedures. They will report directly to the Financial Manager and be responsible for the following:

1. Receiving and capturing journals in the ERP system
2. Monthly reconciliation and administration of GL accounts for Central Finance
3. Monthly reconciliation of selected creditors and debtors accounts
4. Rebilling of costs across legal entities
5. Maintenance and reconciliation of Municipal accounts
6. Assist with budgets and outlooks
7. Manage expenses in line with budgets
8. Review cashbook input on a monthly basis
9. Attend to audit queries as required
10. Perform ad hoc duties within reasonable job scope
