Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Company Accountant who has recently completed their SAIPA articles and is ready to take on their first post-articles role. You’ll work closely with our Finance Director across multiple group entities to manage payroll, project costing, client billing, and daily reconciliations. This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Full payroll support (200+ employees) using PaySpace

•Monthly management accounts and project cost tracking

•Client billing for TES hours placed, and reconciliation with scheduling

•Procurement, petty cash, and supplier payment processing

•Daily financial admin, bank allocations, and VAT applications

•Client collections and debtor management

•Budget feedback and cashflow reporting to the Finance Director and Executive team

•Asset register and Payspace employee asset updates

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, BCom, BCompt or similar

•Proficiency in Excel (advanced), SAGE Accounting, and PaySpace (advantageous)

•Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

•Excellent reconciliation, invoicing, and financial admin skills

•TES experience or payroll-heavy background is an advantage
