Keystone Apparel Company (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg is seeking a finance assistant who is reliable, organised and detail-oriented to support accounts payable/receivable, banking and month-end processes.

You will liaise with stores, internal departments and external suppliers, maintain records and assist with reconciliations and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Reliable, organised and detail-oriented finance candidate.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process invoices, payments and financial transactions accurately and timeously.
• Perform store petty cash reconciliations, ensuring supporting documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with company policies.
• Reconcile store petty cash balances and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and verify store expense claims, receipts and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank and other financial reconciliations as required.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Support financial reporting, data capturing and general finance administration.
• Liaise with stores, internal departments and external suppliers when required.
• Ensure financial processes are completed in line with company policies and internal controls.
• Performing routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the accountant
