Junior Finance Administrator (Debtors and Creditors Support)

As a Junior Finance Administrator, you will provide crucial support to the accounting department by assisting in the management of financial transactions related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.

POSITION INFO

Debtors Support :

1. Assist in the preparation and issuance of customer invoices.
2. Follow up on customer payments and address basic inquiries.
3. Support the reconciliation of customer accounts under supervision.
4. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate recording of debtor transactions.

Creditors Support :

1. Aid in processing supplier invoices and verifying accuracy.
2. Assist in reconciling supplier statements with guidance.
3. Learn to maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
4. Support the preparation of payment batches.
5. Input and classify financial transactions into the appropriate ledger.
6. Assist in maintaining organized financial records.
7. Learn to generate basic reports and statements.
8. Adhere to established accounting policies and procedures.

Ad-Hoc Duties :

1. Provide assistance on special projects or tasks as assigned.
2. Collaborate with team members for data collection and analysis.
3. Participate in process improvement initiatives as directed.
4. Address basic ad-hoc queries related to debtors and creditors.

Communication and Collaboration :

1. Work closely with team members to gather necessary information.
2. Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills :

1. Associate diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

5. Good verbal and written communication skills.
