Profile Personnel Ltd in East London invites applications for a Junior Engineer to support engineering, quality and production activities in a manufacturing environment. You will assist with process optimisation, investigations and maintaining engineering records.

Qualificações

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Understanding of IATF 16949 quality standards.
• Knowledge of problem-solving techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-identification skills.
• Good communication, planning and organisational abilities.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and initiative.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with engineering and quality processes relating to rework and scrapping.
• Provide operational support when required.
• Support technicians in monitoring in-line measurement systems.
• Maintain and update part history records for optimisation purposes.
• Assist with comparing engineering drawings against manufactured components.
• Conduct tear-down analysis of spot welds, rivets and adhesive bonding.
• Assist with process cycle time analysis and engineering problem-solving.
• Identify and address process-related issues promptly.
