A leading electronic engineering company is seeking a Junior Electronic Engineer to start a rewarding career. Main role: Establish and maintain business relationships with new and current customers in the electronic engineering & manufacturing industry.
Qualifications and skills:
• Completed Grade 12
• Suitable technical qualification and/or experience in electronic engineering (Light Current).
• Two or more years’ exp of account management
• Computer literate, MS Office, especially in Excel. (Spreadsheets)
• Ability to liaise with managers, engineers and technical staff.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete projects.
• Strong sales & relationship building skills
• Strong aptitude for figures & accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Presentable & groomed
• Bilingual skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own reliable transport
Duties
• Establish, develop & maintain business relationships with existing and new customers in the electronic engineering & manufacturing industry.
• Visit current and prospective customers to maintain and generate new business.
• Work with members of the sales team
• Assist design engineers in selecting suitable electronic parts for new designs.
• Identify and offer replacement parts for existing designs to engineers and buyers.
• Analyse the market for developing new potential customers.
• Achieve account growth by effectively marketing all product lines.
• Supply management with regular verbal or written reports as to customer potential, prospects, new products, competitive activities, requirements, lost orders or any problems that may arise.
