Job summary

Epiroc seeks a Junior Electronic Design Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems. You will work under senior engineers to gain hands-on experience and grow technical expertise in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, validation, and documentation. Onsite role in Centurion offers exposure to lab equipment and cross-functional teamwork with software and mechanical groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic, software, or computer engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience or internships considered.
• Exposure to lab testing equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing electronic circuits, systems, and prototypes.
• Support schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
• Conduct testing, debugging, validation, and compliance testing under supervision.
• Participate in prototype assembly, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements.
• Document designs, test results, and procedures for traceability.
• Maintain and organise lab equipment and work areas.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and production teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.
