Placements24 seeks a Junior Electrical Engineer to join our Durban team, offering hands-on experience in electrical design, development, and testing across various industrial applications.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or early-career professionals who will assist senior engineers, participate in site visits, and develop foundational engineering skills within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant technical diploma.
• 0–3 years of experience; internships or project work accepted.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles, circuits and components.
• Familiarity with CAD software for electrical drafting is an advantage.
• Strong eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and drafting of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Support testing and commissioning of electrical equipment under supervision.
• Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis for power and control systems.
• Prepare technical documentation including component lists and test procedures.
• Participate in site visits for installation supervision and troubleshooting.
