Location: 2 Lacselles Road, Meadowbrook, Edenvale.
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 weekdays.
Reporting to: DTP Team Leader.

About the Role

Are you obsessed with grids, margins, and making everything pixel-perfect? Do you find joy in watching a perfectly aligned label roll off the press? If so, you might be our next Junior DTP Print Designer!

We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented individual with a flair for layout, a love for paper, and a strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign. You will work alongside our experienced designers to bring packaging, posters, point-of-sale materials, and product catalogues to life, ensuring a professional finish.

Responsibilities

1. Preparing designs for print, with guidance and support as needed.
2. Applying layout work across various formats, from brochures to banners.
3. Resizing, versioning, and adapting master creative into print-ready artwork.
4. Maintaining attention to alignment, spacing, and bleed specifications.
5. Collaborating with the design team to execute ideas with precision.
6. Assisting with digital versions of print files when required.
7. Learning continuously, asking questions, and developing your skills weekly.

Requirements

1. A relevant qualification (e.g., Graphic Design, Visual Communication).
2. A strong portfolio showcasing layout-based work, including university projects.
3. Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
4. Basic understanding of print processes and specifications.
5. Exceptional attention to detail, especially with kerning and spacing.
6. Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
7. Ability to accept and apply feedback constructively.
8. Bonus: Experience with packaging or large-format print is a plus.
