Job summary

Sentinel Staffing Services is seeking a Junior Draughtsman in Brits, North West, for a full-time role. You will develop 2D drawings, create 3D models, and prepare technical documentation for manufacturing and site implementation.

The role requires a National Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, solid CAD skills (AutoCAD, ZWCAD, ZW3D), GD&T knowledge, and attention to detail. Fluency in English and Afrikaans is preferred, with 3–5 years of drafting experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical drafting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of CAD packages and drafting standards.
• Familiarity with GD&T and basic manufacturing principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and GA layouts using CAD tools.
• Take on-site measurements and verify conditions.
• Create and modify 3D component models and assemblies.
• Manage drawing revisions and BOMs per standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, workshop teams, and site crews.
• Review drawings for accuracy against project specs.
