Ogilvy South Africa is seeking a Designer to assist in the creation of online visual concepts and brand marketing materials. The role requires a keen understanding of corporate identity while promoting an eager attitude towards learning and creative development. You will collaborate closely with a team, participating in pitches and ensuring design outputs meet strict guidelines.
Assist with creation of online visual concepts, typography, logos, icons, and other interactive platforms.
Work with Mac OS X, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Acrobat.
- Knowledge and experience with Flash and web applications is a plus.
Working to a brief, a designer develops creative ideas & concepts, reporting and providing feedback to seniors in an organised and clear manner.
Designers display an eager attitude to grow their talent and seek out learning opportunities in order to produce design solutions in line with expectations.
A thorough understanding of the development of corporate communications & corporate identity is integral to the process of developing visual 'brand' and marketing material.
Produce quality outputs in a timely manner and in accordance with brief. Assist wherever possible, be prepared to do many different tasks daily, and rollout other designers' concepts according to an art direction and/or strict guidelines.
Understand how individual work plays a role in the larger project or campaign.
Upskill on an ongoing basis, learning with each new challenge.
Participate in pitches and sourcing of material required to support seniors.
Be up to date and proficient in each account's CI requiring design output, with the skill to complete each task.
Record time spent on jobs and report to a team leader.
