Job summary

A well-known manufacturer in the precast industry is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer / Technician in Cape Town. You will design, draw, plan, and oversee the manufacture and installation of hollowcore slabs and other precast structural elements. The role also offers advancement opportunities into a senior position. Ideal candidates have a BEng / BTech in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, along with strong design and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural engineering.
• Experience in designing and reinforcing structural elements.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and reinforce hollowcore concrete slabs and structural elements for buildings.
• Plan and oversee the manufacture and installation of precast structural elements.

Your role will be to design, draw, plan, and oversee the manufacture and installation of hollowcore slabs and other precast structural elements. You will have the opportunity to advance to a senior Engineer / Technician role and apply for professional registration.
