Job summary

RCL Foods in KwaZulu-Natal seeks a motivated Junior Demand Planner for a 12-month fixed term contract to join our Supply Chain team. You will deliver base forecasts with promotional uplift to support the S&OP process and provide visibility of unconstrained demand.

Requirements include a BCom/Economics or related degree, 2 years in demand planning within FMCG, and strong Excel skills. Based in Westville, the role offers exposure to a fast-moving consumer goods environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce/Economics Degree or related Supply Chain degree.
• 2 years’ experience in Demand Planning or a Supply Chain role in FMCG.
• Intermediate ability in Excel is a prerequisite.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly S&OP activity and demand reviews to highlight forward forecast volumes.
• Collaborate with Customer teams to understand monthly sales performance and impact on 12-month outlook.
• Maintain 12-month rolling forecast with uplift for promotions, documenting promo mechanics and regions.
