Discovery Health's Data Science Lab is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to support data analysis, modelling, and AI-driven initiatives. You will work under experienced data scientists, gaining exposure to predictive modeling, experimentation, and AI-enabled workflows within a healthcare context.

The role emphasises statistical thinking, rigorous methods, and producing well-documented code while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive member outcomes and operational improvements.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, statistical modelling, and ML.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, and structured data.
• Strong foundations in statistics, ML, experimental design, and model evaluation.
• Ability to write clear, reproducible, and well-documented analytical code.

Responsabilidades

• Support data analysis, feature engineering, model development, and evaluation.
• Build and refine statistical, machine learning, and causal models.
• Contribute to experimentation, impact measurement, and evaluation frameworks.
• Maintain reproducible analytical pipelines and documentation.
