The role involves highlighting market insights, generating key reports, and designing functional requirements to meet client needs.

Position Info: Summary

The Junior Data Analyst will leverage data management principles to develop strategies for clients by conducting experiments, research, and analyzing data from the platform and external sources. The goal is to highlight market insights, generate reports, and meet client needs through functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis, visualization, reporting, ensure data quality and integrity, and collaborate with teams.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources.
• Support the development of reports and dashboards to enable data-driven decisions.
• Participate in data quality assurance and cleaning processes.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
• Design specifications for reports and dashboards.
• Engage with clients to understand their pain points related to data management and reporting.
• Determine functional requirements to meet client needs.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the data value chain to identify areas for improvement, leading to actionable insights.
• Use insights to develop strategies for clients, such as pricing, packing, and logistics optimization.
• Create key reports, automate manual processes using scripting languages like Python.
• Identify external data sources to assess external factors impacting clients' strategies.
• Understand macroeconomic effects, market prices, and logistics impacts on the supply chain.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Metabase).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong internal relationships.

Education

• Preferably a degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or Information Systems.
