Job Description

The role exists to manage audit related data analytics engagements, including, but not limited to, end-to-end engagement management, training and upskilling of junior staff members, and identifying and solutioning opportunities for stakeholder value creation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in planning, execution, and reporting of data analytics / CAATs projects for External Audit.
2. Assist in managing stakeholder relationships (internal and external).
3. Assist in planning of Audit Analytics Engagements (Scope of work, Budgets).
4. Responsible for delivery of data analytics engagements.
5. Ensure that working papers / dashboards are in accordance with established department and firm methodologies.
6. Completion of reports in line with established department and firm methodologies.
7. Complete quality assurance documents timeously for each project.
8. Record and note measurement of performance on each project on the performance management system and/or in line with ITCE guidelines.
9. Meet learning and development criteria through on-the-job training, training attendance, and training platform stats (Data Camp) etc.

Job Requirements

Qualifications, Recognition of Prior Learning, Work Experience, and Knowledge

• Qualifications / Recognition of Prior Learning equivalent: B.Com Accounting, Informatics, Computer Science or relevant degree.
• Other relevant data and analytics certifications.
• Work Experience: Minimum 1-2 years working experience in Data and Analytics / Internal / IT / External Audit.
• Knowledge: IDEA Analytics; SQL; Python; Alteryx; UiPath; Advanced Excel; R; Power BI; Qlikview; Basic to intermediate Accounting, Auditing, risk, and control principles.
