Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Corporate Lawyer to join its established legal team in Mahikeng, North West. This on-site role offers hands-on exposure to corporate law, with mentorship from senior lawyers and opportunities to develop transactional experience.

The successful candidate will assist with contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance, and will grow through a comprehensive training program in a supportive, office-based environment.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with an LLB degree or equivalent qualification.
• 0–4 years of post-admission experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers with drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements.
• Conduct legal research on corporate law, regulatory requirements, and compliance.
• Prepare documentation for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Maintain corporate records and ensure statutory compliance.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.

Key Responsibilities
