Job summary

A legal recruitment agency in East London seeks a professional to assist with all aspects of residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions. You will prepare legal documents, conduct correspondence with clients and other stakeholders, and maintain case management systems. Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with all aspects of residential and/or commercial conveyancing transactions

Prepare legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, and Land Registry forms

Open and close client files and manage document filing (digital and physical)

Conduct routine correspondence with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and mortgage lenders

Schedule appointments and manage diaries for fee earners

Perform online searches (e.g. Land Registry, local authority searches)

Update and maintain case management systems

Prepare bills and manage file archiving post-completion

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection and legal standards

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 -3 years' experience administrative experience in a legal or office environment (experience in conveyancing is an advantage)

Strong IT skills (MS Office, case management software)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

Professional, discreet, and client-focused attitude
