Job summary

Placements24 in Benoni is seeking a driven Junior Contract Manager to support the legal and procurement team in managing the contract portfolio and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

You will assist in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, maintain contract databases, monitor compliance, coordinate with stakeholders, and support renewals and terminations, while developing your career in contract lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Matriculation certificate; qualification in law, business or administration preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in legal, administrative or contract support roles.
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with contract terminology and basic legal principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of various commercial contracts under supervision.
• Manage contract databases and maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements.
• Monitor contract compliance and identify potential risks or issues.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract requirements are met.
• Assist in the renewal and termination processes for existing contracts.
• Provide administrative support to the contracts and legal team.
