Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• A strong academic record and demonstrable interest in commercial legal practice.
• Good understanding of South African contract law and company law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research methodologies and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on various commercial law issues.
• Support senior lawyers in corporate transactions and due diligence processes.
• Help maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Liaise with clients and other parties as directed by senior legal staff.
