Placements24 is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join our infrastructure projects team in Paarl, Western Cape. This entry-level role offers hands-on design and site exposure, with mentorship from senior engineers and a focus on learning in a supportive environment.

You will assist with drawings, site surveys, quantity take-offs, and documentation, while developing skills in CAD and civil codes. The hybrid work model provides office and site-based experience in Paarl.

Qualifications

• B.Eng Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 0–3 years of civil engineering experience, infrastructure or site development preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD) is an advantage.

• Assist in design and preparation of technical drawings and specs.
• Conduct site visits and surveys under senior engineers.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimations.
