Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Pr. Eng or Candidate registration with ECSA is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of civil infrastructure design and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar software.
• Knowledge of municipal standards and SANS.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join their established team in Centurion, Gauteng. This position is crucial for the successful planning, design, and implementation of various infrastructure development projects, including road networks, water supply systems, and sanitation facilities. The role requires close collaboration with site teams and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. This is an on-site position, demanding a hands‑on approach and active participation in project execution. You will be responsible for ensuring all engineering aspects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Design and development of civil infrastructure projects such as roads, storm water systems, and municipal services.
• Preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications using CAD software.
• Coordination with local authorities and utility providers to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) or Candidate Engineer (Pr. Eng) is advantageous.
• 3-5 years of experience in civil infrastructure design and project coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of municipal engineering standards and South African National Standards (SANS).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site supervision.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• A valid driver's license is required for site visits.
