Placements24 is seeking a Junior Chemical Engineer to join a remote team delivering water treatment projects in Soweto, Gauteng. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience in designing and implementing chemical treatment processes for industrial and municipal water systems.

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist with process design, laboratory experiments, data collection, and the preparation of technical reports and client presentations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Strong academic background in chemical engineering principles, fluid mechanics, and mass transfer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of water chemistry and common water treatment processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design and development of chemical treatment processes for various water applications.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot studies to evaluate treatment efficacy and optimize dosages.
