About the Role Media 24 TV is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Camera Operator & Technical Crew Assistant to join our dynamic production team.

This multifaceted role combines hands-on cinematography with essential technical support duties, making it ideal for individuals passionate about visual storytelling and production technology.

Key Responsibilities include : Cinematography Shoot photography across a variety of projects Ensure footage meets broadcast standards and post-production requirements Master technical aspects including exposure, lighting, lens selection, camera angles, and movement Match footage aesthetics and technical settings across multiple cameras Follow creative briefs from project leaders and unit heads Equipment Management Maintain inventory of camera, lighting, and grip equipment Ensure proper care, maintenance, and booking of all production gear Keep track of memory cards and manage footage workflow Monitor consumable stock levels and justify additional equipment needs Ensure all equipment is in excellent condition and ready for use Technical Support Complete DIT (Digital Imaging Technician) sheets accurately Adapt to changing priorities and unplanned projects Provide regular progress updates to project leadership Performance Expectations The successful candidate will be evaluated on : - Consistently producing high-quality footage that meets broadcast standards - Efficient workflow management and adherence to deadlines - Meticulous equipment maintenance and inventory control - Creative alignment with project briefs and client specifications - Clear communication and effective collaboration with the production team Qualifications & Skills Required Demonstrated experience in cinematography and camera operation Strong technical knowledge of cameras, lighting equipment, and production gear Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative teams Adaptability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality Proactive problem-solving abilities Reporting Structure This position reports directly to the Unit Coordinator and / or Unit Head, working closely with the Creative Head and Project Leaders on assigned productions.
