Job description

As a regulated company, Exante has to stick to dedicated regulations for capital market participants. This is one of the most important Exante obligations.

To efficiently manage and control transaction reporting and keep related entities in compliance with EU legislation, the Junior Business Operations Reporting Officer must perform a wide range of job duties and responsibilities.

Reporting line: Head of Regulatory Reporting

Location: South Africa

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Regulators' activities to stay on the edge of current EU legislation
  • Perform daily monitoring of reporting processes
  • Cope with reporting errors and omissions
  • Develop reporting systems to decrease the amount of errors
  • Perform intercompany communications with different departments, including IT and Compliance
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting
  • Maintain effective quality business processes documentation
  • Adhere to strict Service Level Agreements ensuring stakeholder and customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Ability to work with and analyze large sets of data
  • Detail-oriented skills
  • Understanding of financial markets
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Service-minded and collaborative attitude

  • Experience working with Power BI
  • Coding experience
  • CFA any level passed / candidate
