A Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst typicallyanalyses data to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.This role involves collecting, processing, and interpreting data from various sources, often using tools like SQL and Power BI.Key responsibilities include creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis:Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report & Dashboard Creation:Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
  • Data Management:Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Collaboration:Working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into BI solutions.
  • Problem Solving:Identifying and resolving data-related issues and challenges.
  • Staying Updated:Keeping up with the latest BI technologies and trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Skills:
    • SQL:Proficiency in querying and manipulating data using SQL.
    • Data Visualization:Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
    • Data Warehousing:Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
    • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Quick learner of business environment and ability to link reporting to help stakeholders make effective and timeous decisions

Education:

A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field like Data Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science would be preferred.

Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in reporting with data analysis or BI development / or similar role
  • Experience with Build Smart and MDA property management system
  • Well-developed proficiency of Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
