Job description

Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

Exposure to Agile methodologies.

Business Analyst experience in the Retail Industry (Advantageous).

Job Specification:

The Junior Business Analyst (BA) will elicit, facilitate, synthesize, and present technical solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of the IT team and report to the Software Product Manager.

Support the Product Manager and Product Owners in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements.

Consult various customers (internal and external) to understand their value chain, structure, functions, and products and/or services.

Assist in conducting workshops or interviews with stakeholders to understand needs and pain points.

Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.

Help prepare user stories, process flows, and use cases under supervision.

Participate in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and support testing.

Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, execution, and issue tracking.

Help maintain documentation repositories and ensure traceability of requirements.

Learn to identify gaps or inefficiencies in processes and suggest improvements.

Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
