Introduction
To collaborate closely with software engineering teams and stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring that software solutions developed align with business objectives and effectively address stakeholders' needs. This role operates at a junior to mid level, requiring strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a deep understanding of both business processes and software development.

Main Responsibilities

1. Data analysis and reporting
2. Understanding business requirements and documenting, validating, and translating into functional specifications, change request documents, or any other documents required by the development team
3. Documenting business processes
4. Attend to incidents and/or requests raised via our bug/change tracking system
5. Follow-up and ensure completion of tasks
6. Participate in the guidance and liaison with users to gain an understanding of required modifications to existing applications, or new applications and post-implementation deployment support
7. Solution proposal and new ideas to use technology efficiently
8. Involvement in testing (SIT, UAT, etc.), including creating test cases
9. Creation of release notes, training material, and training
10. Assist the Operations Managers and Executives with any requests
11. Assist Management with any ADHOC requests from time to time

Minimum Requirements

1. Diploma/Certificate in IT or Business Analysis or Administration
2. 1 - 3 years' experience in financial services advantageous

Knowledge and Skills required

1. Proven experience as a business analyst in software development projects, preferably within the financial services industry, with a strong understanding of a variety of technologies
2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex business processes, identify requirements, and propose solutions that effectively meet stakeholder needs
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and communicate technical concepts clearly
4. Proficiency in requirement elicitation techniques, such as workshops, interviews, and surveys, and experience with requirements management tools within the Microsoft ecosystem
5. Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, and experience working in Agile environments
