Job Description

Responsible for selling the organization's merchandise according to agreed targets. Administers and controls cash and card transactions handled at the shop. Effectively markets stock to customers, manages stock control to ensure constant availability of stock to clients.

Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF 4
• Knowledge of irrigation systems/electrical equipment (recommended)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Orientation towards marketing and client service
• Team-oriented
• Willing to undergo continuous training

Duties and Responsibilities

• Stock control and ordering
• Marketing of agricultural commodities
• PayPoint sales
• Processing receipts from customers and allocations
• Daily banking of all cheques and cash
• Providing high-standard customer service to walk-in customers and via telephonic and email communication
