Junior Bookkeeper (Balance Sheet Recon)

• Code B driver's license & own transport.

Qualification & Experience :

• Senior Certificate (NQF 4).
• Degree in Accounting.
• 2 - 3 years work-related skills and experience in the Logistics industry.
• Previous experience in Bookkeeping or Finance is required.
• SAIPA articles would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles & practices.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel), Familiarity with accounting software (ie Sage) is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail & organisational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team & communicate effectively.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the supply chain & logistics industry.

Working Conditions :

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements & track daily financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for internal & external stakeholders.
• Support the finance team with the preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts.
• Process & track transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
• Assist with audit preparations and documentation as needed.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts & creditors.
• Assist in the preparation of credit applications.
