As the Junior Bookkeeper you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, tracking transactions, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. You need to ensure that the company's accounts are up to date and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
South African citizen.
Code B driver's license & own transport.
Qualification & Experience:
Senior Certificate (NQF 4).
Degree in Accounting.
2 - 3 years work-related skills and experience in the Logistics industry.
Previous experience in Bookkeeping or Finance is required.
SAIPA articles would be advantageous.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles & practices.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel); familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage) is a bonus.
Strong attention to detail & organisational skills.
Ability to work well in a team & communicate effectively.
Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the supply chain & logistics industry.
Working Conditions:
Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements & track daily financial transactions.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for internal & external stakeholders.
Support the finance team with the preparation of budgets and cashflow forecasts.
Process & track transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Help ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
Assist with audit preparations and documentation as needed.
