RPO Recruitment's client, an established construction and development company, is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their clients team.
As a Junior Bookkeeper, your main responsibilities will include assisting the Accounting team in creating financial reports, processing accounts payable and receivable, managing invoices, and tax payments. You will also be involved in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, participating in internal audits and compliance activities, and performing general administrative tasks related to bookkeeping.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and a BCom degree. Prior experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role is preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, are required. Knowledge of accounting software, such as Sage Pastel, is a must.
