Your tasks and responsibilities:

Coordination

  • Define, schedule, and manage the bid/ proposal preparation process.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across all functions. Stakeholders comprising of subject matter experts from Sales, Product, Service, Commercial, Projects and Legal.
  • Manage continuous improvement process related to Bid Management.
  • Facilitate communication of workflows throughout the bid/ proposal process to all the stakeholders.
  • Enable business efficiency (improved productivity) and effectiveness to respond quicker to RFP based on customer needs.

Bid/Proposal production
  • Assist with analysing the Customer's RFP against the bid outline to ensure both compliance of customer's requirements.
  • Determine the scope and timeline of bids/ proposals.
  • Facilitate the sourcing of general bid collateral from authorized owners by subject matter experts in the broader organization enabling access to a repository.
  • Define and standardize the "end product bid "packaging to support the Siemens brand.
  • Ensure that customer and market relevant standardized terms and conditions are in place.
  • Complete a compliance and quality review throughout the process and ensure that the quality process review is in place.

Your qualifications, skills and experience:
  • Minimum Matric qualification.
  • Tertiary education added advantage.
  • MS Office.

The following will be beneficial:
  • 1 - 2 years' experience in Tender/Bid Management.
  • Understanding of the bid process, rules and requirements.
  • Experience in a busy, high pressure working environment.
