HEARING EXPERT INTRODUCTION

A company situated in Pretoria is seeking a Hearing Expert with 1-3 years of experience to join their team.

JOB PURPOSE

Hearing experts will provide high-quality counselling and remote care to a hearing care programme being provisioned to service the market in the United States.

They will ensure that clients understand the effects of hearing loss, and counsel them through the options available to them in terms of hearing care.

Once a client of the Hearing Aid company, the client will be assisted remotely via video and voice calls, with the Hearing Expert troubleshooting issues with hearing aids remotely and making suggested changes and tweaks to the settings and functioning of the hearing aids for the client.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum education (essential): B. Communication Pathology in Audiology
  • Minimum education (desirable): M. Communication Pathology in Audiology
  • Minimum applicable experience: 1-3 years
  • Experience in sale and fitment of hearing aids, troubleshooting, fine-tuning, customer relations, technical support, and digital administration
  • Skills in telephonic sales, excellent English, conflict management, communication, CRM (preferably Salesforce), video calling, cold calling
  • Working hours from 15:00 to 02:00, four days per week, Monday to Friday

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
  • Client Support and Relationship Management (50%): Solve end-user problems efficiently, manage ticketing, escalate queries, respond and follow up, ensure professional communication, maintain high customer effort score, complete CRM tasks, conduct check-in calls and surveys, interpret feedback, make hearing aid adjustments remotely
  • Communication Management (20%): Keep logs updated, report on campaigns, collaborate with team, maintain documentation
  • New Business Generation (20%): Assist clients with questions, handle escalations, follow up on leads, achieve revenue targets, upsell products
  • Quality Management and Data Security (10%): Maintain confidentiality, protect personal information, keep client records in accordance with procedures
