Job description

Junior Attorney position available inMenlo Park, Pretoria.

Minimum Requirements:

• Young, well presented Afrikaans speaking female
• Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base)
• LLB completed and recently/newly Admitted as an Attorney a must
• Experienced in drafting of cost accounts for legal matters preferred, but not essential (Training provided)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Non smoker
• Computer literate
• Stable employment record and contactable references
• To start as soon as possible

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drafting of cost accounts for legal matters (Litigation and Third Party Claims)
• Drafting of party & party, attorney & client and attorney and own client bills of costs
• Drafting, presenting and opposing of bills of costs
• Attend to taxation and opposes taxations
• Opposing bills of costs and settling bills of costs
• Calculation of legal fees

Salary: R15 000 gross (depending on cost consulting experience).
