This stylish and artistic boutique hotel in Tamboerskloof is seeking a service-driven Junior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support evening operations across the hotel. Working closely with the management team, you’ll act as Duty Manager during late shifts and ensure smooth F&B service delivery across outlets, events, and guest touchpoints.

Reporting to the senior F&B and General Management team, your responsibilities will span hands-on guest service, team supervision, closing duties, and maintaining high service standards during evening operations. You’ll also assist in hotel-wide matters while holding responsibility as the Duty Manager on shift.

Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in Food & Beverage or hotel operations

Flexible to work late shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Hands-on operational and guest service focus

Strong leadership potential with a positive, team-oriented attitude

Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

Working knowledge of POS systems, stock control & basic admin

South African citizenship (non-negotiable)

Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license

Act as Hotel Duty Manager during evening operations

Supervise and support F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, and events

Ensure closing procedures, guest satisfaction, and operational handovers

Assist in shift planning, staff management, and service standards

Handle guest requests, issues, and emergencies professionally

Support general hotel operations as needed in absence of senior management

Maintain high hygiene, safety, and service protocols
