Placements24 is seeking a Junior Architect for a hybrid role in Richards Bay to advance master plans and urban design with guidance from senior staff.

You will conduct site analysis, prepare visuals, and help integrate designs with existing infrastructure while engaging communities and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of experience, proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD/SketchUp, and a drive to learn and contribute to projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in architectural design or urban planning.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Basic understanding of urban planning principles and design guidelines.
• Strong graphic and visualization skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects and urban planners in developing master plans and urban design strategies.
• Conduct site research, analysis, and feasibility studies for new urban development projects.
• Prepare design presentations, graphics, and 3D models using architectural software.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs integrate effectively with existing infrastructure and environments.
• Participate in community consultations and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Stay updated on urban planning trends, zoning regulations, and sustainable development principles.
