Requirements include a B.Arch or M.Arch from an accredited university, 0–3 years’ experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Eagerness to pursue SACAP registration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from an accredited university.
• Eagerness to achieve SACAP registration in the near future.
• 0-3 years of professional experience in an architectural practice, preferably with exposure to commercial or retail design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and SketchUp.
• Strong graphic and visualization skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and strong teamwork abilities.
• A passion for design and a strong desire to learn and grow within Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in designing and developing architectural concepts for commercial and retail spaces.
• Prepare architectural drawings, renderings, and models using CAD and BIM software.
• Contribute to construction documentation, including plans, specifications, and details.
• Conduct site analysis and gather project-specific information.
• Coordinate with consultants and engineers to integrate their work into the overall design.
• Research building materials, technologies, and design trends relevant to commercial and retail projects in Centurion.
• Participate in design review meetings and present design ideas.
• Ensure design work aligns with project briefs, budgets, and timelines.
• Support the team in ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations in Gauteng.
