The Role

The Role: Junior Application Support Engineer

This role provides vital support for business-critical applications and databases, ensuring accuracy, availability, and security of information. You will be responsible for managing campaign processes, optimising SQL performance, and assisting with system improvements to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with SQL in a support or technical role
  • Configure and maintain scheduling and automation tools
  • Import, validate, and monitor daily data files to ensure accuracy
  • Optimise SQL queries and maintain database performance
  • Assist with database maintenance, backups, and security
  • Support stakeholders with reporting, analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Test new functionality and contribute ideas for process improvements
About You
  • IT Diploma (minimum), Degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of SQL experience (contact centre/BPO exposure advantageous)
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSRS, APIs, and MS Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to work well under pressure
