PwC is looking for a Junior Application Architect to join our Cloud & Digital practice. The ideal candidate would have a technical background and at least 3 years' proven experience in technology-enabled business transformation projects and programmes.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and / or Certifications such as:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
Experience required:
- 2-4 years of experience in software development or application architecture
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Basic understanding of system integration and enterprise architecture principles
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Responsibilities of role:
- Assist in designing application architectures to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with senior architects and development teams to implement architectural solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to architectural standards
- Support the development and maintenance of application documentation
- Contribute to the evaluation and recommendation of new technologies and tools
- Ensure application security and performance through best practices
Skill sets required:
Technical Skills
- Software Development: Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or .NET, and understanding of software development life cycles
- Application Architecture: Basic knowledge of application architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- System Integration: Understanding of system integration techniques and enterprise architecture principles
- DevOps and Agile: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments and familiarity with DevOps practices

- Business Acumen: Ability to understand business requirements and align architectural solutions with business goals
- Project Management: Basic project management skills to assist in overseeing the implementation of architectural solutions
