Job Description

The ideal team member will be responsible for the broad Developing Agriculture function, providing leadership in sustainable farmer development. From the outset, the candidate is expected to make an impact within a multidisciplinary team. Essential prerequisites include strong managerial skills, agricultural economic knowledge, the ability to integrate management information, and excellent interpersonal, written communication, and administrative skills.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Economics
• 1-3 years of experience in an agricultural environment
• Proficient in computer skills
• Traceable references in financial and office administration roles
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparation of business plans in an agricultural context
• Business and farm planning
• Basic financial modeling using Excel
• Building and analyzing farm cash flows
• Analysis of financial statements related to farming enterprises
