Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 with 3+ years’ experience in retail administration
- Good computer literacy – MS Office, Sage
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
- Knowledge of point-of-sale payment types, e.g., debit card machines
- General administrative experience such as filing, cash-ups, receiving cash, and reporting
- Excellent telephonic and written communication skills in English, and good listening skills
- Ability to deal well with customers and handle a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work Saturday mornings, overtime, and selected public holidays (at overtime rate)
- Retail experience in the motor industry is preferred
- Vibrant personality and enjoyment of being around people
- Stable work history and contactable references
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Processing customer payments, receipts, and credit notes
- Answering switchboard and directing calls
- Processing GRV’s, GR’s, and inter-branch transfers
- Handling insurance cover information
- Filing invoices, credit notes, and related documents
- Preparing payments and actioning order requests
- Reconciling units issued and received
- Compiling reports and handling debtor queries
- Ordering staff clothing
- Maintaining housekeeping of admin office and reception, including cleaning schedules
- Providing general administrative support
Salary:
R8500 per month + debtors incentive + public holiday overtime
