Job description

Junior Administration Clerk - Roodepoort (West Rand)

The successful candidate will assist the Senior Administrative team with day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with processing and capturing supplier invoices and purchase orders.
  2. Help reconcile supplier accounts and petty cash.
  3. Support the preparation and sending of debtor statements and receipting.
  4. Maintain accurate filing and digital records.
  5. Assist in bike and inventory stock updates and general data entry.
  6. Help with restaurant daily cash-ups and basic reporting.
  7. Support restaurant and dealership stock takes and variance reporting.
  8. Assist with general office administration tasks and other duties as assigned.
  9. Be available to assist after hours during events when required.
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Email)
  • Strong attention to detail and good numerical skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take instructions
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Professional, reliable, and positive attitude
  • Applicant must reside in close proximity to the workplace (Little Falls, Roodepoort)
Advantages (Not required but beneficial):
  • Previous experience in admin, finance, retail, or hospitality environments
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles or working in debtors / creditors
  • Experience with stock control or point-of-sale systems
  • Exposure to a dealership, workshop, or restaurant setting
  • Experience with Pilot Software, Automate Evolve, or Pastel Management
