Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review and reconcile invoices, purchase orders and expense reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare and process payroll in compliance with company policies.
• Support audit processes with schedules and documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Perform general administrative duties including filing and data capturing.
• Collaborate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting.
• Bookkeeping up to trial balance.
• Assist with preparation of annual financial statements.
• Prepare VAT, PAYE and other statutory returns.
• Assist with income tax returns and provisional tax computations.
• Support SARS queries and audits.
• Prepare working papers for client files.
• Liaise with clients on accounting, payroll and taxation matters.
• Maintain compliance with SA accounting standards and tax legislation.
