Junior Accountant/Vehicle Invoicing Experience - Edenvale

N.B. Must have experience at Dealership level, and Evolve computer package.

Position Overview - Junior Accountant

Support the financial department by performing day-to-day tasks that add up to accurate financial statements.

A Junior Accountant’s Duties And Responsibilities Include:

  1. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
  2. Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
  3. Maintaining and creating organized and up-to-date financial records.
  4. Assisting with tax audits and tax returns.
  5. Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  6. Working with bookkeeping software, online spreadsheets, and databases.
  7. Utilizing database software to organize financial account information.
  8. Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
  9. Learning how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
  10. Processing and preparing invoices, and following up on late payments.
  11. Assisting with other accounting projects, as needed.

Position Overview - Vehicle Invoicing

The main focus of the position is to support and assist the Vehicle Administration Manager in the management of stock associated documents and invoicing.

Specific Role Responsibilities:
  1. Working with Compliance.
  2. Taxing of Pro-Forma Invoices and Supplementary invoices.
  3. Dealing directly with the Branches.
  4. Assisting with Checking and Printing of OTPS.
  5. Handling queries from branches.
  6. Accurate Data Capturing.
  7. Administration duties, including filing, copying, etc.
  8. Implement effective relationship management strategies (both internally and externally).

Qualifications And Experience

Minimum Experience:
  1. A basic understanding of the sales cycle within a business entity.
  2. Experience and knowledge with deal files.
  3. Evolve Knowledge.
  4. Understanding of the compliance governing the retail industry would be an advantage.

Minimum Qualification:
  1. Grade 12 – essential.
  2. Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage.
  3. Valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license.
  4. Computer literate: MS Office (intermediate level of Excel skill is essential).
