Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Accurately record and maintain financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
Manage daily and monthly invoicing. - Provide administrative support to senior accountants as required.
- Follow up on lease renewals and lease documentation.
- Assist in verifying FICA compliance (documents, updates, and checks).
Manage credit checks and track Xero invoices. - Assist with maintenance requests, ensuring quotes, invoices, and approvals are processed efficiently.
- Follow up on proof of payments for maintenance services.
- Liaise with property owners, tenants, and contractors on property maintenance matters.
- Maintain accurate property files and records.
- Assist with email follow-ups, reminders, and general communication related to rental management.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day admin operations to keep the portfolio running efficiently.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Real Estate and Rental management experience will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
