Job description

Vacancies: Join our team as a Sales Agent in Springs

Position Overview: The Sales Agent's key role is to generate leads and convert these into successful deals in line with provided targets and manage this via the provided Lead Tool.

The agent will be responsible for enforcing the provided marketing strategy and reporting to the Sales Manager within an agreed format.

Requirements:
  • A NQF4 qualification is compulsory.
  • Your own transport is a must.

  • Cellphone, Laptop & connectivity will be provided.
Support & Relationship:

The Sales Agent will report directly to the Sales Manager and will interact with other key stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Load online ads daily according to the provided format and standards.
  2. Have an in-depth knowledge of the sales agreement and explain it thoroughly to buyers.
  3. Follow up on all leads from all sources and record/update on the lead tool daily.
  4. Convert leads into on-site visits to successfully close deals.
  5. Adhere strictly to sales viewing procedures as per training received.
  6. Complete a market research and surrounding area knowledge report within an agreed format, providing this to your sales manager every second month.
  7. Enforce the provided marketing strategy, including ensuring boards are in place and visible as instructed.
  8. Liaise with buyers to obtain necessary bond documentation, adhering to turnaround times.
  9. Keep buyers updated on bond application progress.
  10. Ensure the on-site office is fully operational, including stationery, equipment, and cleanliness.
  11. Identify marketing trends proactively.
  12. Prepare and submit weekly reports within an agreed format.
  13. Adhere to turnaround times and requests from the Sales Manager.
  14. Notify the Sales Manager of any on-site problems or issues.
Additional Responsibilities:

Anticipate problems and suggest solutions; communicate professionally; maintain a professional appearance; update visitor logs and lead tools; perform other duties as business requires.

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Understanding of current market conditions, prices, competitors, demographics, and surrounding areas.
  • Knowledge of the entire sales process from agreement signing to property transfer.
  • Ability to compile reports.
  • Strong time-management and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Effective communication in English.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible working hours and availability for emergencies.
  • Valid driver's license and transportation.
  • Weekly reporting to the Sales Manager.
