Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting full audit and assurance engagements.
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• Perform VAT and PAYE reviews and submissions.
• Conduct data analysis and reconciliations.
• Perform substantive testing on account balances and transactions.
• Assist with tax computations, submissions, and SARS compliance.
• Handle general accounting functions: bookkeeping, invoicing, debtors, and trial balance.
• Liaise with clients and offer professional accounting support.
• Maintain SARS accounts and manage tax clearance applications.

Type : Permanent | Office-based

Salary : R13,000 – R16,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

POSITION INFO :

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting (completed or currently studying)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a trainee accountant role
• Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential, due to frequent client interaction and internal communication
• Knowledge of full audit and assurance engagements
