EdUpStairs in Durban is seeking an entry-level Junior Accountant to support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT and PAYE submissions, and monthly accounting tasks. Full on-the-job training will be provided to a motivated school leaver.

You will gain exposure to basic accounting processes, bank reconciliations and statutory submissions while developing your career in an established accounting practice in the Durban area.

Competenze

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• No prior work experience required; training will be provided.
• Suited to a school leaver eager to learn.

Mansioni

• Capturing and processing financial transactions
• Preparing and submitting VAT and PAYE returns
• Performing bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
• Assisting with monthly accounting functions
• Supporting senior accountants as required
